New Release - A ROAD TO DAMASCUS

A ROAD TO DAMASCUS is one of the most significant new rock bands in Denmark, will release their second album "In Retrospect" through Mighty Music on August 25th 2014. This is an album, following their self-titled debut album (2011) received excellent reviews in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the United States. The title track "In Retrospect" is featuring singer Harry Radford from the British post-hardcore band YASHIN which they shared the stage with at one of their first concerts back in 2010 and "All Said And Done" was already released in June as a single. Musically, they deliver an American Rock / Pop-punk sound, which combines with 30 Seconds To Mars to Green Day. This new album was recorded at Radionika Studios in Stockholm (Sweden) with producer Dino Medanhodzic. A ROAD TO DAMASCUS has created the now annual Rock 'N' Charity tour for the Boernecancerfonden (Children's Cancer Foundation) since 2010 and will embark on Rock’N’Charity Tour 2014 from this September.

デンマークで最も特筆すべきバンドのひとつ A ROAD TO DAMASCUS が、8月25日に Mighty Music よりセカンドアルバム "In Retrospect" をリリースします。 これは、デンマークをはじめスウェーデンやドイツ、米国などで高い評価を受けた 2011年のセルフタイトルのデビューアルバムに続くものです。 タイトルトラックの "In Retrospect" では、2010年のファーストコンサートのひとつでステージ共有を行った英国のポスト・ハードコアバンド YASHIN のボーカル Harry Radford をフィーチャーしていますし、 "All Said And Done" の曲はすでに6月にシングルリリースもされています。 音楽的には、30 Seconds To Mars と Green Day をミックスさせたような アメリカンロックとかポップなパンクロックです。 今作は、プロデューサー Dino Medanhodzic と共に スウェーデンのストックホルムにある Radionika Studios で レコーディングを行っています。 A ROAD TO DAMASCUS は 2010年より 毎年 Boernecancerfonden (小児がん財団) のために Rock 'N' Charity というチャリティーコンサートツアーを行っていて、今年も9月から開始されます。
