MYRIAD LIGHTS: Kingdom Of Sand

MYRIAD LIGHTS 7月22日にセカンドアルバム "Kingdom Of Sand" をリリース

Italian metal act MYRIAD LIGHTS will release their sophomore album “Kingdom Of Sand” through Punishment 18 Records on July 22nd, following their debut album “Mark Of Vengeance” (2012). On this album, ex-drummer Filippo Motta plays, and keyboards and additional arrangements are done by Marco Zanibelli. Now new drummer Simone Sgarella who played with Furor Gallico and Bastard Saints, and keyboardist Lele Mr Triton who is known for his work with the band Highlord joined the band. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Sundowner studio in Arluno, Milan, Italy by Marco Zanibelli and Myriad Lights. Contents of the lyrics through the album are about the depth of the human soul and the relationships between people such as love, war, friendship. The sound is much more speeding and aggressive as compared to the previous one. Fans of Hammerfall and Firewind sure will like the album.

イタリアのメタルバンド MYRIAD LIGHTS は、2012年リリースのデビューアルバム “Mark Of Vengeance” に続く2作目のアルバム “Kingdom Of Sand” を7月22日に Punishment 18 Records よりリリースします。このアルバムでは、バンドの元ドラマー Filippo Motta が叩いていて、キーボードと編曲の追加を Marco Zanibelli が担当しています。現在バンドには、Furor Gallico や Bastard Saints でプレイしていた Simone Sgarella がドラムに、そして Highlord との仕事で知られる Lele Mr Triton がキーボードに加わっています。今作の収録やミキシングおよびマスタリングは、バンドと共に Marco Zanibelli がイタリアのミラノのアルルーノにある Soundowner Studio で行っています。アルバムの歌詞内容は、「愛」 や 「戦い」、「友情」 など人間の心の奥深いところにあるものや人と人との関係などについて歌われています。前作と比べると一層疾走感が増していて、一段とアグレッシブなサウンドに仕上がっています。Hammerfall とか Firewind のファンはきっと気に入るでしょう。
