AL

AL is a band from Germany and has released the album Kiss My Ass in this March. It is the second album includes 10 songs and follows after Count Dracula in 2009. Their music is a new garage rock with Gusti Lenz voice sounds like a bit bad old man singing. They have a crunchy and dry sound by using a simple chord as the classic rock'n' roll does. After 2000, many revival bands of garage rock came out in the world. AL is one of them as well. AL songs have been on aired on a radio many times, seems like a very popular band in Germany. Actually the album was released on March 1, 2011. In Japan, it is available on MP3 at amazon jp MP3 from in this April and a physical CD is also available at AL website.

今年3月に Kiss My Ass というアルバムを New Way Music よりリリースしたドイツの3人組バンド AL。 アルバムとしては、2009年にリリースされた Count Dracula に続く2枚目のアルバムで、カバー曲を含めて全10曲入り。 Gusti Lenz のつぶれた声をいかしたチョイ悪おやじの 懐かしい雰囲気を持った Garage Rock です。 2000年以降、古典的なロックンロールのシンプルなコード進行に加え、ヘビメタのような歪んだ音色ではなく クランチ系のドライなサウンドで、 Garage Rock のリバイバルバンドが多く出てきています。 この AL もそんなバンドのひつで、ドイツのラジオ局では、発売前からオンエアされていて人気があるようです。 3月1日世界発売のアルバムですが、日本では4月から amazon jp MP3 で発売開始となっていて、 CD 本体は AL のホームページで購入可能です。
