INNER WISH

InnerWish is a 6 piece metal band from Greece. After they signed a deal with a new label, the album No Turning Back was released in 2010. This is the 4th album as the band. It sounds like a Metal Opera - hooking us on the melody, more deeper sound and thicker chorus - compared to the previous ones. Now they have 6 members and Babis (vocals) cut his hair as you can see. In this February, they had an opening act which was fantastic in ACCEPT live show in Athens. This album was mixed by Fredrik Nordstrom who worked on with In Flames and Hammerfall, mastered by Mika Jussila who did Nightwish and Children of Bodom as well. You can enjoy the entire tracks. Personally I like this album much better than previous one.

昨年2010年にレーベル移籍後初となる アルバム No Turning Back をリリースしたギリシャの InnerWish 。 通算で4作目のアルバムですが、 正統派ヘビメタからちょっと脱皮して、コーラス隊も加わり壮大でパワフルなオペラメタルのような仕上がりになっています。 ボーカルの Babis Alexandropoulos も長かった髪をバッサリ切り落とし、メンバーも 6人になり楽曲も分厚いサウンドになってきています。 今年 2月には ACCEPT のアテネ公演のオープニングアクトを堂々と務めています。 このアルバムは ミキシングを In Flames や Hammerfall などを手掛けた Fredrik Nordstrom、そして マスタリングは Nightwish や Children of Bodom、Stratovarius の Mika Jussila が 行っていて、最後の楽曲まで楽しめます。 個人的には今回のこのアルバムの方が好きです。
