HEART SHAPED ROCK

HEART SHAPED ROCK is comprised of members from two legendary bands from the Portland, Maine rock scene: Tribal Iris and Twisted Roots. Front woman Sheridan Giordano presides over leads band’s guitar-driven sound. They are at times reminiscent of Siouxsie and The Banshees and Thin Lizzy with overtones of modern alternative bands. In this year they have released 2 singles, KARMA in June and DREAM SEQUENCE in September on iTunes by ZenHill records. Those are now available on iTunes, with other online stores following shortly.

They have a ROCKING show at The Big Easy with Murcielago on November 11, 2011 in Portland.

HEART SHAPED ROCK は、アメリカ メイン州 ポートランドの伝説的なふたつのバンド Tribal Iris と Twisted Roots のメンバーで構成されています。 バンドのフロントウーマン Sheridan Giordano はギターパートをうまく引き出しまとめています。 楽曲的には、今のオルタナバンドに Siouxsie や The Banshees、Thin Lizzy を重ね合わせたようなサウンドがところどころに感じられます。 今年すでに2曲 ZenHill records よりシングルリリースしています。 6月に KARMA を、そして9月に DREAM SEQUENCE をそれぞれリリースし、iTunes で購入可能です。 近々その他のオンラインストアでも販売開始予定です。
