IVAN MIHALJEVIC & SIDE EFFECTS

Ivan Mihaljevic is a young guitarist, singer, songwriter from Croatia. He’s currently working on a solo project and he's a full-time member of one of the biggest Croatian hard rock (heavy rock) bands HARD TIME. He’s started to play with HARD TIME at the biggest European heavy metal festival “Waken Open Air” in 2005, when he was only 18. In 2008 he started his solo career publishing “Sandcastle” and in the same year he opened the Paul Gilbert Croatian concert and played on stage with Les Paul at Iridium Jazz Club in New York. In 2009 Ivan collected some Croatian TV and radio appearances including live performances and interviews and worked with John Denner on his solo CD with the likes of Billy Sheehan, Brett Garsed, Phil Hilborne and more.
The second solo Ivan album is titled “Destination Unknown” and was recorded with the backing band “SIDE EFFECTS” and released in October 2010. This album is the Album of the Month in March, 2011 edition of the biggest European guitar Magazine Guitar Techniques. It is available at amazon.com

Ivan Mihaljevic はクロアチアの若いギタリストであり、シンガーでもあり、またソングライターでもあります。 現在彼はソロプロジェクトに取り掛かっていて、クロアチアでメジャーなハードロック（ヘビー系）バンド HARD TIME のメンバーでもあります。2005年彼がまだ18歳だったときに、ヨーロッパ最大のヘビーメタルのフェスティバル Waken Open Air に HARD TIME と共に参加したのが始まりです。 2008年ソロとして Sandcastle を発表し、同年 Paul Gilbert のクロアチアでのコンサートの前座をつとめています。 さらに、ニューヨークの Iridium Jazz Club では、Paul Gilbert と一緒にステージにも立っています。 Ivan は、クロアチアのテレビ や ラジオ での生出演とかインタビューなどを重ねて、2009年に Billy Sheehan や Brett Garsed, Phil Hilborne などのような ソロ CD を John Denner と共に制作しています。

Ivan のソロアルバム2作目 Destination Unknown は、Side Effects を従えてレコーディングされ、2010年10月にリリースされています。 このアルバムは、ヨーロッパ最大のギターマガジン Guitar Techniques の2011年3月号の The Album Of The Month にも選ばれていて、 日本では amazon Japan でも購入できます。
