New Release - TASTE

Swedish new band TASTEM will release their self-titled debut album through AOR Heaven on January 18th 2013. TASTE was formed in Stenungsund Sweden by the two brothers Christoffer and Felix Borg the day before new year’s eve in 2009. First, TASTE was only supposed to be a side-project, because both also had played in other groups. It turned out that the two Swedes decided to turn TASTE into a full band. During the two following years, they wrote and recorded five songs inspired by the 80's and bands like Europe, FM, Giant, Valentine and White Lion. Since they never met any suitable band members to complete the line-up and therefore couldn't play live, the brothers decided to record their first full-length album themselves. The self-titled album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Christoffer Borg at his own studio. TASTE had a vision to blend a vintage 80’s sound with a fresh modern production. スウェーデンの新バンド TASTE のセルフタイトルのデビューアルバムが、AOR Heaven より1月18日にリリースされます。 TASTE は、スウェーデンの Stenungsund (ステヌングスント) で2009年の大晦日の前日に、Christoffer と Felix の Borg 兄弟によって作られたバンドですが、2人とも他のバンドでプレイしていたので、当初はサイドプロジェクトだくらいにしか思われていませんでした。 最終的には、ふたりは TASTE をフルバンドにする決心をしたことになります。 2年間は、Europe とか FM、 Giant、 Valentine、 White Lion など80年代色の濃い曲を作り、5曲ほどレコーディングしています。 バンドに合うメンバーになかなか出会えず、ライブ活動も行えませんでしたが、Borg 兄弟は自分たちで最初のフルアルバムをレコーディングすることにしました。 レコーディングを含めミキシング、マスタリングなどすべて Christoffer が自分のスタジオで行っています。 TASTE には 80年代のヴィンテージサウンドに 現代の新たな要素を掛け合わせた音楽を作るというヴィジョンがあり、それを実現したことになります。 このアルバムの全楽曲はバンドの facebook ページで試聴でき、購入も可能です。
