New Release - PHAVIAN

American progressive metal band PHAVIAN based in Los Angeles, will release the album "MERIDIAN II" on March 9th, follwing the previous album "MERIDIAN I" (2011). The album consists of 6 tracks, includes the 12 minute epic, "Watersong," as well as their first ever acoustic song, "Adam's Ale". Viewing music as a boundless art, PHAVIAN uses unconventional rhythms, orchestrations and melodies as tools to craft a truly unique sonic experience. After their debut album "Kiena" was released in 2009, PHAVIAN spent on gigging, touring, and promoting their music. "MERIDIAN II" features as additional musicians, Omeed Izadyar on Guitars of all tracks except "Mirror Skin", and Gavin McGuire on Vocals of all tracks except "Adam's Ale", "Mirror Skin". アメリカ・ロサンゼルスを拠点に 活動している プログレッシブ・メタルバンド PHAVIAN が、2011年の前作 "MERIDIAN I" に続くアルバムとして "MERIDIAN II" を3月9日にリリースします。 全6曲入りで、彼ら初のアコースティック曲 "Adam's ALe" の他、12分間という長めの叙情詩 "Watersong" が収録されています。 PHAVIAN は音楽を無限の芸術として捉えていて、独自のサウンドを産み出す道具として 型破りなリズムやオーケストレーション、メロディなどを取り入れています。 2009年にデビューアルバム "Kiena" は、ライブやツアー、プロモ活動をしてきています。 この "MERIDIAN II" では、Omeed Izadyar がギターで "Mirror Skin" を除く全曲に、Gavin McGuire がボーカルで "Adame's Ale" と "Mirror Skin" を除く全曲に参加しています。 バンド自身のプロデュースで、技術は Charlie Park とNicholas Zagorin、ミキシングは Assen Stoyanov、マスタリングは Hans DeKline が手がけています。 また、カバージャケットは Matthew Hill による制作です。 現在バンドのホームページでは、 オリジナル T シャツ 付きで 予約販売も 行っています。  日本では 3月9日 より amazon Japan にて購入可能になります。
