New Release - THE DEFILED

THE DEFILED is a 5 piece industrial metal band from London in the UK, and formed in 2005. The band quickly embarked a number of tours early in their careers including "The Black Death Tour" climaxing in a sold out London show at the Underworld. They deliver Metalcore, combines melodic elements with electro approach, so, their gigs have earned the band a reputation for their blistering and chaotic live shows. THE DEFILED released so far their first EP "1888" (2009), and the full album "Grave Times" (2011). They have a plan for release a live album "Grave Times Live" in 2013. They have accomplished playing at well-known festivals such as Download Festival, Sonisphere, Bloodstock Open Air and Crooked Ways Festival in the UK, and also supported bands such as DRAGONFORCE, MURDERDOLLS, STATIC-X, GHOST and GODSMACK. In march 2013, the band signed with Nuclear Blast to release their second studio album "Daggers" and was released on August 2nd 2013. The album was recorded at Audio Hammer Studio in Florida (USA) with producer Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, DEVILDRIVER, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE). The Japan version, including 2 bonus tracks, will be released through Nippon Columbia Records on September 18th.

THE DEFILED は、2005年に結成された 英国ロンドンの 5人組インダストリアル・メタルバンドです。 ロンドン Underworld での売り切れとなったライブのクライマックス "The Black Death Tour" をはじめ、バンドとしてのキャリアは数多くのライブに乗り出すことから始まっています。 メロディックな要素とエレクトロ的なアプローチを混ぜ合わせた メタルコアを聴かせてくれるので、猛烈で混沌としたライブを行うバンドとして評判になりました。 THE DEFILED は これまでに EP "1888" を2009年に、フルアルバム "Grave Times" を2011年にリリースしています。 また、年内に "Grave Times Live" という ライブアルバムを出す予定にもなっています。 バンドは、英国内で Download Festival や Sonisphere、 Bloodstock Open Air、 Crooked Ways Festival など よく知られている フェスティバルへも参加し、DRAGONFORCE や MURDERDOLLS、 STATIC-X、 GHOST、 GODSMACK といったバンドのサポートも行っています。 今年3月 Nuclear Blast と契約し、8月2日に 2作目の スタジオ・アルバム "Daggers" をリリースしました。 レコーディングは 米国フロリダにある Audio Hammer Studio で 行われ、Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM、 DEVILDRIVER、 MOTIONLESS IN WHITE) によるプロデュースです。 日本盤はボーナス・トラック2曲入りで、9月18日に日本コロムビアからリリースされ amazon Japan にて購入できます。
