DEAFENING SILENCE

DEAFENING SILENCE is a French Heavy Metal act, founded in 1997. The band has live shows through the years while keeping the flame alive and elaborating a style of metal that evolved along with the musical influences of its members. During over fifteen years of existence, they have done some line-up changes, and released three demos and three albums; "Edge of Life" (2003), "Backlash" (2007) and "Scapegoat Of Ignorance" (2014) with a new line-up. Brand new release "Scapegoat Of Ignorance" released on February 3rd 2014 through Brennus Music and is a concept album based on a story of the last days of Henri Herduin the second lieutenant in the French army, who was guilty of 'dereliction of duty' and executed by his own men on June 11th 1916. With this album, the band pushes back the boundaries of its music, reaching more aggressive territories on the verge of thrash metal and developing a significantly progressive side.
