MY REFUGE [Italy]

MY REFUGE is a modern Power and Heavy Metal band formed in 2010 in Varese, Italy. The band debuted with their first self-roduced EP “3407-Picture Of An August Night” in October of that year, in 2013 they released their second self-produced EP “Living In Anger” which was acclaimed as a masterpiece by many magazines and webzines all over Europe, Asia and America. Their full length debut album entitled “A Matter Of Supremacy” was released through Bakerteam Records in June 2015. The album was mixed and mastered by Andrea De Bernardi at Eleven Studio in Milano, Italy. They take a musical style of blending of heavy power metal with influences of prog and melodic metal, while mixing melancholy and dark atmospheres with classic epic style. The band is offering a wide range of musical landscapes along with a personal sound with a wide guitar works, heavy riffing, catchy chorus and powerful rhythm section. It's highly recommended to fans of Power, Speed, Heavy Metal like Crimson Glory, Iron Maiden, Rage, Helloween and Blind Guardian. MY REFUGE will play to support as an opening act for FREEDOM CALL “666 Weeks Beyond Eternity Tour 2015” on November 12th.

MY REFUGE は、イタリアのロンバルディア州にあるヴァレーゼで2010年に結成された、モダンパワーヘビーメタルバンドです。 同年10月に “3407-Picture Of An Augst Night” というセルフプロデュースのファースト EP でデビューし、2013年に同じくセルフプロデュースで “Living In Anger” というセカンド EP をリリースしていて、この2作目の EP は、全ヨーロッパやアジア、アメリカなどの雑誌やウェブマガジンから絶賛されました。 そして今年2015年6月に Bakerteam Records より “A Matter Of Supremacy” というデビューフルアルバムをリリースしました。 このアルバムは、イタリアのミラノにある Eleven Studio で Andrea De Bernardi がミキシングとマスタリングを手掛けたもので、日本では下記のオンラインストアにて購入可能です。 クラシックなエピックスタイルで鬱蒼としたダークな雰囲気を混ぜ合わせながら、プログレッシブやメロディックメタルの影響を受けたヘビーでパワフルなメタルを取り入れていて、幅のあるギター演奏とヘビーなリフ、キャッチーなコーラス、力強いリズムの独自のサウンドで、音楽的なレパートリーの幅広さを聴かせてくれます。 Crimson Glory とか Iron Maiden、Rage、Helloween、Blind Guardian などのようなパワー、スピード、ヘビーなメタルファンにはお勧めです。 MY REFUGE は来月11月12日に、FREEDOM CALL の 「666 Weeks Beyond Eternity Tour 2015」 のオープニングアクトを務めることになっています。
