TORPEDOHEAD

German band TORPEDOHEAD released the EP with 5 songs Let's Go For A Ride in this November 2010 from Eat Music after their debut album Lovesick Avenue in spring 2009. The band plays a type of American Rock'n' Roll with 3 members in the pic : Hardy (left) in bass/vocals, Zasch (center) in drums and Sven (right) in guitar/vocals.
This EP below is available at amazon MP3 and iTunes for world wide. The songs are pretty punchy as well as the debut album. You can see the EP cover artwork makes us imagine a riders jacket or something along to the title of EP. The first music video Cadillac Beach from this EP is up now. The video shooting took for 6 hours and they sung really about 100 times. You can see Hardy is in a trunk and given some strong kicks by a girl in the video. They told me Accidentally she hit his face. OUCH! The video shooting seems like a tough job. You can watch other videos on TORPEDOHEAD YouTube channel.

2009年春にリリースされたデビューアルバム Lovesick Avenue に続き、今年2010年11月には5曲入りの EP Let's Go For A Ride を Eat Music よりリリースしたドイツのバンド TORPEDOHEAD 。 上記画像よりベース/ボーカルの Hardy (左)、 ドラムスの Zasch (中央)、 そしてリードボーカル/ギターの Sven (右) というシンプルなメンバー構成のアメリカンタイプの Rock'n' Roll バンドです。
この EP は日本の amazon MP3 や iTunes などで購入できます。 前回のアルバム同様、ほどよいパンチのある楽曲に仕上がっていて、 ご覧のように EP のタイトルに合わせてライダージャケットを思わせるカバーになっています。 また、この EP からの第1弾として Cadillac Beach のミュージックビデオがアップされています。約6時間かかったというこのビデオ、クチパクではなく100回くらい歌ったそうです。 Hardy は車のトランクに閉じ込められたり、女の子に蹴りを入れられたり、顔にはまともに当たったそうで、撮影ではかなり大変な思いをしたようです。 この他、ライブのビデオなどはTORPEDOHEAD の YouTube チャンネルでご覧いただけます。
