PAPERTANK [Switzerland/France]

PAPERTANK is an alternative rock trio born in 2015, consisting of a half-Swiss & half-French members. They are offering a mixture of punk, stoner and post-hardcore with a furious bass, a hammering drums and an addictive powerful voice. They tour mainly Switzerland and France so far. On May 5th, the band released their debut full-length album entitled “Playground” through Division Records. The album contains ten songs displaying a unique face of the band which never hesitates to come and go with its own influences. Sometimes it's fast and aggressive, sometimes more groovy, even some more pop tendencies. PAPERTANK will have a release party with a guest Hommage aux Bracos at Café du Théâtre in Pontarlier (France) on May 27th.

PAPERTANK は2015年にできた3人組のオルタナロックバンドで、スイスとフランスのハーフのメンバーで構成されています。強烈なベースにハンマードラムそして病みつきになるようなパワフルな歌声で、パンクやストーナー、準ハードコアを混合した楽曲を聴かせてくれます。現在のところ、主にスイスとフランスでツアーを行っています。今月5月5日に Division Records より “Playground” というデビューフルアルバムをリリースしました。アルバムには、影響を受けたものをむき出しにしたバンドの素顔が伺える全10曲が収録されています。時には疾走感がありアグレッシブで、時には奇抜で、ポップ調ものものあります。このアルバムは、日本では下記のオンラインストアで購入可能です。PARPERTANK は5月27日に、ゲストに Hommage aux Bracos を迎えてフランスのポンタルリエにある Café du Théâtre でリリースライブを行うことになっています。
