THE KILLING VOLTS is a Geneva (Switzerland) based 4 piece Power Rock band led by two vocalists Tania Silverstein (ex-Solartones) and Al Castro (The Black Widow's Project) and founded in 2013. After the band founded, shortly they have started to play gigs to aim to keep live their rock 'n' roll and punk rock backgrounds with the main influence of Soul/Blues/Rock voice such as Aretha Franklin, Alison Mosshart, Beth Ditto or Skin. The band self-released their 4 track debut EP “Why Should I Say Yes?” on CD and vinyl in Spring 2017 before their first full-length album to be released in 2018. It's now available on their BandCamp page. Their music is direct, intense, structured and powerful, and has electrifying instantly the ambiance and provoking acoustic landscapes, with energetic riffs, sexy vocals, and compact sounds. For fans of Bikini Kill, QOTSA, The Dead Weather, The Hives, and The Kills.
THE KILLING VOLTS は、Tania Silverstein (元 Solartones) と Al Castro (The Black Widow's Project) のふたりのボーカルが率いる、スイスのジュネーブを拠点とする2013年結成のパワーロック・バンドです。バンド結成後まもなく、主に Aretha Franklin や Alison Mosshart、Beth Ditto または Skin などのソウルやブルース、ロックの歌声に影響を反映した、ロックンロールやパンクロックの要素を生かすライブ活動を始めています。来年2018年にリリース予定のファーストフルアルバムの前に、今年春 “Why Should I Say Yes?” という4曲入り EP を CD とビニル盤で自主リリースしていて、BandCamp ページで購入可能です。彼らの音楽は直接的で激しく、構造化されていてパワフルであり、エネルギッシュなリフとセクシーな声、それにまとまったサウンドが雰囲気を即座に刺激したりアコースティックな世界を挑発したりします。Bikini Kill とか QOTSA、The Dead Weather、The Hives、The Kills などのファンは要チェックです。
