BLISTER BRIGADE [Sweden]

BLISTER BRIGADE is a Hard Rock band from Sweden formed by guitarist/vocalist Gustav Lund and drummer Jerker Avander in 2010. The band's sound is raw and heavy with a Rock 'n' rolls attitude inspired by groups like Motörhead, Guns N' Roses, and Skid Row. So far, BLISTER BRIGADE has released two albums, “To Serve And Punish” (2013) and “The Executioner” (2016), and an EP “Pissed, Outraged And Outgunned” (2018).

On February 21st, the band will release its third album “Slugfest Supreme” through Inverse Records. The album is a riff-based, hard-hitting and heavy creation that blends classic hard rock with razor-sharp heavy metal contains full of powerful and edgy tunes. You could say it became their best and most relentless album up to date ever. Also, “Slugfest Supreme” contains both fast and heavy songs and also more mellow and acoustic material which makes the album varying without losing any focus on the bands distinct sound.

BLISTER BRIGADEは、ギタリストでボーカリストの Gustav Lund とドラマーの Jerker Avander が2010年に結成したスウェーデンのハードロックバンドです。Motörhead や Guns N' Roses、Skid Row などのバンドにインスパイアされたロックンロール色の濃い楽曲でヘビーなサウンドを聴かせてくれます。BLISTER BRIGADE はこれまでに2作のアルバム “To Serve And Punish” (2013) と “The Executioner” (2016)、および EP “Pissed, Outraged And Outgunned” (2018) をリリースしています。

来月2月21日には Inverse Records より3作目のアルバム “Slugfest Supreme” をリリースします。 このアルバムはクラシックなハードロックとカミソリのような鋭いヘビーメタルをブレンドした、リフベースのハードヒットでかつヘビーな作品となっており、パワフルでエッジの効いた曲満載で、バンドの過去最高で最も妥協のないアルバムに仕上がっていると言えるでしょう。また、“Slugfest Supreme” には疾走する曲とヘビーな曲の両方が収録されており、BLISTER BRIGADE 独自のサウンドにこだわらずアルバムの流れを変化させる、よりメロウでアコースティックな素材も含まれています。日本でもまもなく発売される予定です。
