GAME OVER: Claiming Supremacy

Italian Thrash Metal act GAME OVER will release their fourth full-length album “Claiming Supremacy” through Scarlet Records on November 17th in Europe and the Japan edition is also released on November 15th. Inspired by the classic Bay Area Thrash Metal scene of the 80s, GAME OVER mixes those influences with modern sounds and a very distinctive personality. “Claiming Supremacy” is the perfect combination of the band's furious riffing, Hardcore attitude and Classic Metal influences, with very obscure lyrics and, of course, those anthemic choruses that fans recognize as a band trademark. Overall the album is heavier, faster and ruthless than ever. Lyrics vary from B-movie scenarios to social-political themes, science fiction, mythology and history. The album has been mixed and mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust) and the cover artwork was handled by acclaimed artist Mario E. Lopez (Evil Invaders, Impalers, Hyades). After the album released, GAME OVER will embark their European Tour from November 19th.

イタリアのスラッシュメタルバンド GAME OVER は、11月17日に Scarlet Records より4作目のフルアルバム “Claiming Supremacy” をリリースします。日本盤も11月15日に発売される予定で、下記のオンラインストアにて購入可能です。GAME OVER は80年代のベイエリアのスラッシュメタルに触発されていて、その影響が現代的なサウンドと特徴的な独自性でミックスされています。“Claiming Supremacy” は、バンド独自のリフ攻撃やハードコア的スタイル、それにクラシックメタルの影響などを曖昧模糊とした歌詞を伴い見事に組み合わせたアルバムとなっていて、もちろん、このバンドならではのトレードマーク的アンセミックなコーラスも含まれています。内容的にはB級映画のシナリオから、社会・政治のテーマ、SF、神話や歴史まで様々なものを取り上げています。アルバムのミキシングとマスタリングは、Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust) が手掛けていて、カバージャケットは定評のあるアーティスト Mario E. Lopez (Evil Invaders、Impalers、Hyades) が担当しています。アルバムリリース後の11月19日からは、GAME OVER のヨーロッパツアーが始まります。
