DEADLINE

DEADLINE is a 5 piece hard rock band from Paris, France. In this September, they will release the 3 track EP mixed and mastared by a well-known producer Beau Hill (Chicago, KISS, RATT, Winger and Warrant). The music they play is a straight-ahead hard rock by a high-toned voice and attractive nuanced guitar riffs. The band was formed in 2007 and they had a band name DEADLINE two years ago. They had been looking for the killer name something short with an impact. One day after their rehearsal Nicolas on drums said "Ok guys! What is the deadline for the recording the stuff?". That's the moment the band name was born. Sébastien on a bass told me "We like it because it conveys the idea that something is going to happen, something you can't go against, energy, no way back. A lot of meanings in fact". The members are Nicolas Ballu (Drums), Joris Béraud (Guitar), Sébastien Debbane (Bass), Arnaud Restoueix (Lead vocals), Gabriel Lect (Guitar) from left.

フランスはパリのハードロックバンド DEADLINE です。 あの有名なプロデューサー Beau Hill (Chicago、KISS、RATT、Winger、Warrant) のミキシングとマスタリングで、今年9月に 3 曲入り EP がリリースされます。 彼らの音楽は、ハイトーン気味のボーカルと引き込まれるような味のあるギターリフによる正統派のハードロックです。 バンド結成は2007年ですが、今のこの DEADLINE というバンド名になったのは2年前です。 短くて何かインパクトのあるカッコいい名前を話し合っていたそうですが、ある日リハーサルの後ドラムスの Nicolas が　「おい、レコーディングの締め (deadline) はいつだっけ？」ってつぶやいたことが発端となり決定したそうです。 「この先何かが起こりそうな、抵抗できないものやエネルギーとか、もう後がないぞ！って感じとかがいろんな意味でバンドにピッタリだった」 とベースの Sébastien が話してくれました。 メンバーは、左から Nicolas Ballu (Drums)、Joris Béraud (Guitar)、Sébastien Debbane (Bass)、 Arnaud Restoueix (Lead vocals)、Gabriel Lect (Guitar) です。
