DOWNFALL 2012

DOWNFALL 2012 is a three piece metal band based in Houston, Texas, USA. The band has spent the last several years touring the US and releasing music independently. They have shared the stage with Hed (pe), The Hunger, Twisted Sister, Alice Cooper, The Damned Things, Fair To Midland, Dirty Wormz, and numerous other national acts. In 2011 DOWNFALL 2012 has won "Metal Band Of The Year" from Houston’s Radio station 94.5, and has been nominated for multiple categories yearly from The Houston Press Music Awards. The band released "Everyman For Himself: Issue 1", part 1 of a trilogy, in March 2012. The first single off of "Everyman For Himself",  "Divinity", is currently in rotation across the US and Canada, on FM, satellite, college and internet radio stations. The band is especially known for their high energy live performances and wild drum-off style breakdowns involving multiple original and unconventional percussion instruments. The next part to their story "Everyman For Himself: Issue 2" is scheduled to be released in April 2013.

 

DOWNFALL 2012 は、アメリカのテキサス・ヒューストンを拠点に活動している3人組のメタルバンドで、過去数年間はアメリカ国内をツアーして回ったり、単独で楽曲をリリースしたりしていました。 彼らは Hed (pe) や The Hunger、Twisted Sister、Alice Cooper、The Damned Things、Fair To Midland、Dirty Wormz など数多くの国内バンドとステージに上がったことがあります。 2011年に DOWNFALL 2012 は、 地元ヒューストンのラジオ局94.5 で "Meatl Band Of The Year" を獲得していて、ヒューストン・プレスのミュージック・アワードでは 毎年複数のカテゴリーで ノミネイトされたりもしています。 2012年3月には "Everyman For Himself その1" という 3部作のうちの第1作目をリリースしました。 その "Everyman For Himself" からのファーストシングル "Divinity" が現在アメリカやカナダ国内の FM 局、サテライト局、大学放送局、インターネットラジオなどで 繰り返しオンエアされています。 このバンドは特に、ライブでのエネルギッシュな演奏や 様々なドラムや珍しい打楽器を組み合わせたワイルドなドラムオフ・スタイルのブレイクダウンを聴かせてくれることで知られています。 こちらの EP は amazon Japan や HMV Japan または CDBABY で購入できます。 第2作となる "Everyman For Himself: Issue 2" のほうは4月リリース予定になっています。
