New Release - OVERLAND

It's been five years, Steve Overland's band OVERLAND is back with their third album "Epic" which will be released through Escape Music on February 21st 2014. Steve Overland is a British singer/musician who was the lead vocalist and songwriter for the bands Wildlife, FM, The Ladder and Shadowman. His musical carrier started in the late 70s, his first major recording was with the band Wildlife in 1980 and OVERLAND first album "Break Away" was released in 2008. Steve gave us a more classic approach to melodic rock with the second release "Diamond Dealer" (2009), with great songs that have feeling and depth. This new album was mixed, mastered, arranged and produced by Mike Slamer at Shattered Studios in Valencia, CA. and Billy Greer from KANSAS joined on backing vocals. Co-produced by Christian Wolff (Rob Moratti) who has also made this album so remarkable with his great guitar playing and song writing. 2月21日に Escape Music よりリリースされる3作目のアルバム "Epic" で、5年ぶりに Steve Overland のバンド OVERLAND が戻ってきます。 Steve Overland は、Wildlife や FM、The Ladder、Shadowman のボーカリストでソングライターでもあった 英国のミュージシャンです。 彼の音楽キャリアは70年代後半から始まっていて、最初のレコーディングは1980年 Wildlife 在籍の時でした。 また OVERLAND としての初リリースは2008年の "Break Away" で、2009年のセカンド "Diamond Dealer" では、情感と奥行きのある楽曲で メロディックロックへの古典的なアプローチを 聴かせてくれました。 今回の新作では Mike Slamer がカリフォルニア・バレンシアにある Shattered Studios で、ミキシングからマスタリング、アレンジ、プロデュースまでを行い、 KANSAS の Billy Greer が バックボーカルとして参加しています。 また、素晴らしいギター演奏や曲作りで優れたアルバムにしてくれた Christian Wolff (Rob Moratti) が共同プロデューサーになっています。 完璧なハーモニーとか 巧みなギター演奏、弾むキーボードサウンドなどを好む方には、これ以上探す必要がないほど最高レベルで一流の作品となっています。
