THE LOSTS is a Dark Heavy Metal band from the northern France, born in 2009, and started to tour in 2010. Their music is touched by the melodic side of metal, influenced by Hard, Heavy and Dark Metal bands like Megadeth, Mercyful Fate, Dio, Paradise Lost, Therion or Melechesh. The band released their first 5 track EP “No God, No Devil” in May 2013 and their first full-length album “... Of Shades & Deadlands” in April 2016. The album contains 13 tracks and was recorded at lamb studio, mix & master by Clément Decrock at Boss Hog Studio. The cover artwork was done by Stan W. Decker & DGC. The lyrics of the songs relate to the story of the losts who are innocent beings born alone in a desert land. Without name, without any god or devil to believe in... They just want to look like human beings, but with getting closer to cities they get the innermost nature of mankind's mind... A dark and unstable mind made of liar, anger, violence, brainwashing, fear... This is a satire of the contemporary society. THE LOSTS had more than 50 shows in France and Belgium, sharing stages with bands likes SERENITY (Austria), DIRTY SHIRT (Romania), KING HEAVY (Chile), CAPILLA ARDIENTE (Chile), FIREFORCE (Belgium), DRAKKAR (Belgium) and EXISTANCE (France). The band has also appeared in some compilations.
THE LOSTS は2009年に結成した北フランスのダークヘビーメタルバンドで、翌2010年からツアーを開始しています。Megadeth や Mercyful Fate、Dio、Paradise Lost、Therion あるいは Melechesh などのハードでヘビーでダークなメタルバンドの影響を受けたメロディック寄りの楽曲です。彼らは2013年5月に5曲入りのファースト EP “No God, No Devil” を、そして今年2016年4月にファーストフルアルバム “... Of Shades & Deadlands” をリリースしています。このアルバムは lamb studio で収録され、Boss Hog Studio で Clément Decrock がミキシングとマスタリングを手掛けています。また、カバージャケットは Stan W. Decker & DGC の制作です。歌詞の内容は、荒廃した地に生まれたけがれのない、失われた人たちの話が歌われています。名前もなく、信じる神や悪神もない… ただただ人間のようになりたかった。町々に近づくに連れて彼らは人間の最も心底にある本質 - 偽りや怒り、暴力、洗脳、恐れ といった邪悪で不安定な感情 - を手に入れてしまいます。これは現代社会の風刺でもあります。日本では下記のオンラインストアにてデジタル購入可能です。THE LOSTS は、SERENITY (オーストリア) や DIRTY SHIRT (ルーマニア)、KING HEAVY (チリ)、CAPILLA ARDIENTE (チリ)、FIREFORCE (ベルギー)、DRAKKAR (ベルギー)、EXISTANCE (フランス) などのバンドとステージを共有し、母国フランスとベルギーで50以上のライブ経験があります。また、コンピレーションにも参加しています。
