TRICK OR TREAT [Italy]

TRICK OR TREAT is an Italian Power Metal band formed back in 2002 as a tribute to Helloween by lead guitarist Luca Cabri. The band has released five albums received very well by critics and fans. On April 24th, 2020, their sixth studio album “The Legend Of The XII Saints” through Scarlet Records. The new album “The Legend Of The XII Saints” is a concept album freely inspired by the saga of the 12 Golden Knights of the Zodiac as for the ‘Saint Seiya’ anime created in 1985 by Masami Kurumada. This time, TRICK OR TREAT was looking for something new and different, something that they have never done before. Each song is a monographic work that delves into the personality of the knights and the compelling plot that binds all the characters to the goddess Athena. On this album, the happy metal crusaders, TRICK OR TREAT, have once again managed to forge an epic and entertaining sonic tale, enriched by majestic orchestrations, refined arrangements, and catchy refrains.

TRICK OR TREAT は、2002年にリードギタリストの Luca Cabri により Helloween へのオマージュとして結成されたイタリアのパワーメタルバンドです。 バンドは批評家やファンから非常に好評を博した5枚のアルバムをリリースしており、今月4月24日には6枚目のスタジオアルバム “The Legend Of The XII Saints” を Scarlet Records よりリリースしました。この新作 “The Legend Of The XII Saints” は、1985年の車田正美のアニメ作品「聖闘士星矢」の、黄道十二宮の黄金騎士団物語にインスパイアされたコンセプトアルバムとなっています。 今回、TRICK OR TREAT は、斬新でこれまでとは違う何かを探していて、それぞれの曲が騎士の個性とすべてのキャラクターを女神アテナに結びつく説得力のある陰謀を掘り下げたモノグラフィック作品です。今作でも、TRICK OR TREAT のメタル十字軍戦士たちは、壮大なオーケストレーション、洗練されたアレンジメント、そしてキャッチーなリフレインによって、エピックで面白いソニックストーリーを作り上げてくれています。日本では下記のオンラインストアにて5月22日より購入可能です。
